DIMBOOLA’S Paige Glover continues to make her mark in the Greater Western Victoria Rebels Under 19s side after being awarded player of the week in round five.

Against the Geelong Falcons at the Rebels' first home game Glover kicked three of the team’s four goals of the day.

Glover had 13 disposals and eight tackles which saw her take out the Rebels player of the week.

Dimboola’s Brook Ward also played against the Falcons and as a young player on the side, Ward had three disposals for the game.

The Falcons were too strong for the Rebels in the end and won 11.4.70 to 4.6.30.

In round six the Rebels hosted the Oakleigh Chargers for a competitive game of football.

The Rebels started strong and it looked to be a close game until the Chargers jumped in front before halftime.

Near the middle of the final quarter, the Chargers were leading by three points, however, some quick goals saw the margin increase before the final siren.

The final score was Rebels’ 3.7.25 to Chargers’ 6.4.40.

The Rebels are now sitting in 11th position on the ladder.

While Glover didn’t kick any goals in round six she came away with five disposals and six tackles and Ward had three disposals for the game.
