15 pop-up clinics will be open this weekend in primary schools in Victoria to deliver more vaccines to local communities.

Children do not have to attend these schools to get a vaccine and the pop-up sites are available for people of any age to get their COVID-19 vaccines.

A change in the way the Victorian Department of Health allocates positive test results from RATs has been attributed to a significant increase in Horsham LGA’s active COVID cases.

Positive results from RATs were recorded by the state government starting in early January but were not attributed to a geographical area. COVID case statistics had only shown results from PCR tests.

This changed Saturday, February 5 with positive RATs results attributing to local areas, leading to a spike in COVID case numbers.

The Wimmera Health Care Group drive through testing service on Read Street, Horsham with the entry on Arnott Street is open 8am to 11am daily.

The Horsham Respiratory Clinic is open for COVID-19 testing on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 5pm, Tuesday from 9am to 5pm, Friday from 9.20am to 5pm, Saturday from 10am to 1pm and Sunday from 9am to 12.20pm.
